Confidence at London Fashion Week

FILA BODY - ASOS | SKIRT - H&M | NIKE BACKPACK - ASOS | NIKE SOCKS - ASOS | NIKE TRAINERS - ASOS | SUNGLASSES - RAYBAN

Day two of London Fashion Week was a prime example of how dramatically my style can change day to day. I can go from complete lack of colour to bold pops of vibrant colour and from clean, minimalist styling to colourful, playful & sporty just like that.
That is what I love so much about personal style - you don't have to put a label on it. You can wear whatever you like and whatever makes you feel most comfortable from day to day without having to conform to the latest trends. I love having the freedom to dress according to my personality, and most importantly having the ability to dress in what makes me feel most confident.
I think it's so important to remember that during big 'fashion' events such as London Fashion Week we often feel so much pressure to impress the other people attending, that we lose sight of ourselves. I know I've felt anxious as hell rolling into Fashion Week, worried that everyone is scrutinising my choice of clothing. But now I realise that that was because I was trying to dress according to what I thought the standards were rather than wearing what I wanted & loved to wear. I honestly believe that feeling comfortable and 'yourself' in what you are wearing will make you exude confidence more than the appreciation of your latest must-have trendy item that you chose to wear just so that others will accept you.
Trust me guys, I say this from experience - the less I care about what I'm wearing and the more confident I feel in myself and the outfit that I literally threw together, the more accepting and interested people seem! So just stay true to yo'self :)
What makes you guys feel your most confident?

By the way, I used a picture from your blog in my latest post - it's about autumn outfit inspiration. I hope it's okay! Of course I posted a link to your blog along with the picture.
