Pho Vietnamese Street Food & a couple OOTD's

Mennar & I have been to this restaurant a few times now and it never fails to utterly satisfy us.
It was a Sunday night and I was super hungry, as I had not really eaten much after having been quite ill for a number of days.
After having wasted the previous few days rolling around in bed I was just beginning on the road to recovery on Sunday night, so wanted something to eat that was healthy and was not going to upset my stomach.
Mennar also wanted to take my mum out, so we had to make a decision based on my needs but also considering my mum's taste.
Pho was the first place that came to mind.
We went to the Chiswick Branch which was a first as we've only ever been to the one in Westfield White City. It was a nice change as the food court in Westfield can tend to feel really crowded and claustrophobic.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely, really calm and they were playing some old school jams which was just perfect.

For starters we ordered some veggie spring rolls, prawn summer rolls and some tender fried squid - a new one for all of us, but damn it was delicious! Definitely a new favourite for all of us.

Me being a creep as usual haha!

Then for mains Mum got a papaya salad with prawns, Mennar tried something new as always, this time he got 'Com Tam' which is broken rice. He chose the 'Com Tam Rang' which according to the menu, is aromatic, spicy wok-fried broken rice with chicken and dried shrimp. According to our tastebuds it was heaven on a plate!
Me being me, I got what I always get - Pho. Specifically 'Pho Tai' which contains thinly sliced steak. As always, it was divine!

I couldn't finish the whole thing so here's a snap of me getting a little help from Mennar

Last but not least we thought we would take a couple of snaps of our outfits that day.

Mennars outfit: Polo top - Farah, Jeans - Topman (similar here), Trainers - Nike

My outfit: Top - Forever 21 (similar here), Shorts - Urban Outfitters, Shoes - Topshop

Thought I'd leave you with a photo symbolising me kicking my virus in the butt! Haha!

Please let me know if you like these kind of posts, and also how you guys feel about Mennar making more of an appearance with OOTD's etc :)

Hope you all had an amazing weekend.
Until next time.

Urban Decay Peversion

A few weeks back I was invited to a lovely little intimate press event showcasing Urban Decay's brand new Perversion Mascara alongside some other lovely Urban Decay goodies.
As the girls and I walked in we were greeted by some stunning visuals and treated to some delicious nibble and drinks!
Once we had finished indulging, we got to play with the new collection of matt velvet smokey eyeliners, the 'Subversion' lash primer and the 'Perversion' mascara. Did I mention that this mascara is the very mascara that Kim Kardashian wore on her wedding day?! And I'm not surprised! It is awesome! You guys will see for yourselves soon enough!
So to answer the question I'm sure you are all asking... When does this collection launch?
On the 4th August with the Autumn collection :)
I must say a massive thank you to Urban Decay for having me and also for introducing me to another absolutely amazing mascara other than my all time favourite - the Urban Decay 'Big Fatty' Mascara.

What are you guys favourite mascara's?

Thought I'd leave you with this silly picture showing just how excited I am about the goody bag I am leaving with! Shoutout to my girl AJ for being an photobombing G hahaaa!

Wireless Festival Saturday Surprise

The amazing man above (my boyfriend) thought he would surprise me with Saturday tickets to Wireless as it was my birthday earlier on in the week on Wednesday!

This was literally the best surprise ever as he knew how much I had wanted to go and see Chance The Rapper (my favourite everrrrr haha). By the time I had realised that Chance was playing the Saturday it was too late for me to get the tickets! I don't know how he managed to bag these tickets in such short notice but kudos to him!

My outfit for Wireless day two was a bit of a crazy mishmash of prints and patterns but I was so excited about the fact that I was going to see Chance the Rapper that I couldn't think about anything else haha. I think the outfit kinda worked out anyway!

What I wore:
Crop top - Forever 21
Skirt - Forever 21

As well as bumping into friends (above) I also bumped into quite a few lovely subbies (below) and even managed to bag a couple of photos with some of you guys! Thanks so much for coming up and saying hi, I love meeting you guys!

Onto the best part - Chance the Rapper! Now if you guys don't know about him, you better check him out! Although he is a rapper, he is very soulful and his rapping is quite melodic. He really connects with his audience and the whole vibe was absolutely amazing! I cannot wait for the chance to see him again :)

Also, just thought I would put it out there that he saw my instagram of his performance and proceeded to follow me on twitter!! What?!

I just want to say a massive thank you to the most amazing boyfriend ever for the most exciting and unexpected birthday surprise ever :)
I had such an amazing weekend seeing friends and loved ones, but  it was pretty hectic so now it is time to rest before I get back on my grind haha!

Let me know if any of you guys went, and what your highlights were. Hope you all had an amazing weekend :)
Thanks for reading

Wireless Festival with Cat Footwear

What I'm wearing:
Dress - Beach Shack (Australia)

(pic reposted from Bee a.k.a idressmyselfff blog)

So I was lucky enough to be invited to Wireless Festival by Cat Footwear this year! I got to go on Friday alongside Bee from idressmyselfff which was really cool as she's an awesome chick!

We spent the day stomping around in our incredibly comfy and durable Cat Boots and soaking up some sun, having a few drinks and just taking in the amazing festival atmosphere.

I also did some vlogging and took photos with my camera but somehow little pieces of my memory card managed to crumble off, which means that I lost all of the footage which I am absolutely gutted about :( sorry guys!

We were incredibly excited about being lucky enough to see these three acts: Iggy Azalea, Pharrell, & Kanye!
I think we both agreed that Pharrell was the highlight of the day! His performance was amazing and brought back so many nostalgic memories for Bee and I as he played some of his really old stuff that we used to listen to back in the day.

It's safe to say that we both had an amazing time, so thanks again to Cat Footwear for sending Bee & myself to Wireless!
